Project with Derbyshire Wildlife Trust

Small groups of children were taken out onto the green space next to nursery to join in with activities led by Mike from Derbyshire Wildlife Trust.  They had strips of card with shades of green, yellow, orange and brown and they collected leaves which matched their colours.  Mike showed them some photographs of art by Andy Goldsworthy and Chris Drury and the children used the leaves to make their own representations of a sun and a snake.  They also collected sticks and leaves to make homes for woodland animals underneath the trees.
